LK Model Management was founded in 2013 by Lisa Kauffmann.
Lisa Kauffmann was born and raised in Calgary. Scouted by legendary agent John Casablancas of Elite at age 15, Lisa was off to NYC and Paris at age 17 to go on to become the first model from Canada to grace the cover of British Vogue. Her successful career included covers of Italian Vogue, Spanish Vogue, ELLE and Marie Claire. Lisa worked with the best photographers in the business such as Albert Watson, Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Meisel, Mario Testino and the late Richard Avedon. She was one of the models featured in Revlon’s “Most Unforgettable Women” campaign. Her other clients included L’Oreal, Clairol, Coty, Almay, the Gap, Banana Republic, Nordstroms, Blumarine and Wella. Lisa has walked the runway for Chanel, Armani, Fendi, Blumarine, Kenzo, Comme des Garcons, Perry Ellis and Bill Blass.

 

Retired from modeling to raise her family, Lisa has returned to the modeling industry as a scout and mother agent and has opened up her own company, LK Model Management. Her keen eye for beauty has piqued the interest of top model agencies in NYC, Paris and Milan. Lisa is passionate and dedicated to finding, mentoring, developing and managing new talent, preparing them for international careers and placing them with the top agencies locally and around the world. Her wealth of knowledge and experience in the fashion and modeling world along with her social media savvy, is unparalleled and her reputation is one of a true professional. She is available for public speaking engagements on the modelling industry and positive body image for both men and women.

 

Touted as “Calgary’s Original Supermodel”, her story was featured in the September 2013 issue of  AVENUE magazine.   Her writing on the modeling business has also been published in Flare magazine.
